ESP32 RF test - for certification and perfomance

ESP32 is a Wifi + Bluetooth combo IC. 

This is a manual for RF testing by using Espressif RF tool.

It can use for FCC, CE, IC, KC, MIC and RF perfomance test such as RF Tx out, EVM, RSSI.

It is very simple steps and you can refer to below video, too. 

 

ESP32 RF Test

Step1 : Download test program

www.espressif.com/en/support/download/other-tools

 

Step2 : Prepare your DUT

This is a exactly same as your development connection. 

If you can download Firmware and See debug message from UART0, it is OK.

You have to connect below pins to USB-UART conversion board or ESP-PROG.

 

 

 

Step3 : Download RF test firmware

 

firmware name : ESP32_RF_TEST_V160_40M_20200714.bin

 

Step4 : Run command 

 

You must stop when you need to change command

 

WiFi test mode

 

Bluetooth test mode

Step5. Adaptivity Test

you need to change firmware for Adaptivity test as below.
